| Organizational Culture "Hallmarks of the business of designing and developing - as with other life experiences - are the opportunities. I've heard it said that 'To whom much is given, much is expected.' The notion of reciprocity nestled in a guarded, communal threat wrinkles my brow. The notion that talent or skill or other worthy marble of character is unearned deeply furrows. I prefer to turn this coin over - 'To whom little is given, much is still expected.' People rise to occasions, not the other way around." Sinzala, formed in 2005 aims to provide Internet and Computing services to its clients (companies or individuals) of all sorts of backgrounds. We are a very specialist organisation. Our main business strategy is to work very closely and intimately with our customers, and hence building socially intellectual relationships which we believe are the ideal working environments to be in. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Motivation
and Client Relationships
| |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| I personally believe that
the informal ways of discovering my client's needs are more important than the
formal training and education that I have received. Gathering and specifying client
requirements is a critical aspect of my work and is; I believe the point that
could determine the fate of a project. I spend time with my clients, and through chats, coffees, teas and questionnaires endeavour to attain a clear understanding of their requirements, personal perspectives on things and their day-to-day activities. Social skills on my part are of the essence, and I am a strong believer in emotional intelligence - self-awareness, impulse control, persistence, empathy, zeal, motivation, and social dexterity. My main strategy and overall responsibility are to take an imaginative and creative leap and, with a touch of inspiration, integrating these with my clients' needs. I don't have a particular style or look, and I don't think that this is odd - mostly because requirements are always different for every client.
|
Finally, maintaining regular communication as well as building healthy relationships
with clients is also vital, also because requirements tend to change direction
every now and then and people just don't always know what they want (it is the
nature of humans). That is why I also guide and support all my clients all the
way through their decision-making and their investment. Moono B. - Consultant (Information Systems), Web Developer and founder of Sinzala
